Our Geographical Information System (GIS)

We use a Geographical Information System (GIS), which can capture, store, analyze and display geographical information.

Why is GIS information important and what does it tell us?

When we install a new water pipeline for example, it is important to know where the pipe is located. After the water main installation, we map its coordinates. This shows the pipeline's location in the GIS database. This allows us to locate a damaged water main quickly and safely.
