What does it mean to volunteer with us?
Volunteering isn't just about what you can do for us; it's about what volunteering can do for you, too! Develop new skills, meet people with similar interests, or explore a new career path. Various volunteer positions call for a variety of unique skills.
As a volunteer, you play an important role in representing the Town and being an Ambassador. Regardless of the position, the ideal volunteer:
- Is passionate about Kingsville and their volunteer role
- Embraces working in a diverse and inclusive environment, and
- Is respectful of others and committed to providing excellent customer service
What do you need to become a volunteer?
Please start by filling out our Volunteer Form. This form gives us information about you and what events and programs you are interested in. Following the successful submission of this form, an email will be sent with instructions on how to complete the Kingsville Volunteer Ambassador Training. If you have not received this email, please reach out to us at specialevents@kingsville.ca.
Some roles may require training or a vulnerable sector screening. Please wait for direction from the Volunteer Coordinator on whether or not the vulnerable sector screening is required for your role. Those volunteers who need to complete paid training will be reimbursed.
All applicants, regardless of age or ability, must consent to the disclosure of information by signing the Consent to Disclosure of Personal Information Form provided by staff. Government identification consisting of the applicant's legal name, photo, and birth date is required to prove identity. Youth under 18 may use a student card to meet the photo requirement.
